|
The Vocera System Software is the centralized command center for the Vocera Communications System.
- Highly accurate, user independent speech recognition - The Vocera system uses speech recognition technology from industry leader Nuance Communications. It is capable of a wide variety in speech patterns, to accommodate users with non-native accents.
- Call by name, by function, by group – Reaching someone is as easy as speaking their name. Need to contact anyone in a particular job role? Just request to talk to that function, i.e. “Get me a housekeeper”.
- Broadcast Calling – Reach everyone in a particular group simultaneously using the broadcast command. Urgent broadcasts can take priority over other calls and even override conversations in process. Once the urgent broadcast ends the conversation is restored.
- Push-To-Talk – Instantly reach a designated group with the touch of a button.
- Call blocking and call screening – Concerned about privacy? HIPPA? Use the call blocking and screening features to ensure your conversations are in compliance.
- Conference Calling – Allows you to conference up to two additional parties on a call.
- Group Messaging – Record a voice message for an entire group.
- Call Transfer – Transfer any call to another Vocera user. Extend this to include any PBX extension with the Telephony Integration option.
- Call Forwarding – Forward your calls to another Vocera user. Extend this to include any PBX extension with the Telephony Integration option.
- Voicemail – The Vocera system includes a built-in voicemail capability allowing callers to leave voice messages when you are logged –off or not available to receive calls.
- Text Messaging – The Vocera badge displays text messages that can be sent by individual users or by the Nurse Call system itself when using the optional Nurse Call Integration feature.
- Audio Playback Of Text Or Email Messages - Users can have the system play their messages using its text-to-speech capabilities.
- Supports Multiple Geographic Sites – Campus or multi-site facilities can be served from a single location reducing installation and ongoing management complexity.
- Browser-Based Management – The system is easily managed via a browser-based interface allowing support personnel and system administrators access from virtually and PC on the network.
